Koninklijke van Kempen en Begeer has been the gold standard in European silver production since 1925. They were highly regarded by the wealthy bourgeoisie and European royal families and famed for their design and craftsmanship.
1984

When GL Nederland discovered over 30,000 original moulds following the acquisition of the Koninklijke van Kempen en Begeer jewellery factory in 1984, it was instantly clear: an unprecedented treasure trove of cultural heritage had just been unearthed! The discovery included thousands of hand-crafted jewellery moulds from a bygone era, dating from 1880 to 1935. There were Victorian designs, exquisite art nouveau figures, and geometric art deco shapes – all inspired by illustrious designers from these time periods.
